Findentials is responsible for your personal information. Our store runs on Shopify. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.

Information We Collect

  • Contact details — name, email, delivery and billing address.
  • Order information — what you bought, returned or cancelled, and your order history.
  • Payment information — handled by our payment provider. We never see your full card number.
  • Messages — anything you send us by email.
  • Device and usage information — IP address, device and browser type, and the pages you view, collected through cookies.

We collect this directly from you, automatically as you browse, and from the service providers who process orders on our behalf.

How We Use It

  • To process, ship and track your order, and handle returns and refunds
  • To reply to your messages and provide support
  • To prevent fraud and keep the store secure
  • To keep the tax records we are legally required to keep
  • With your consent only: to send marketing emails and measure our advertising

Who We Share It With

Shopify, our payment providers, the supplier who packs your order, the carrier who delivers it, our email and analytics tools, and our accountant. If you accept advertising cookies, also Meta, TikTok and Google.

We also disclose information where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies

Essential cookies keep the basket and checkout working and are always on. Analytics and advertising cookies run only if you accept them. Change your choice any time using Cookie settings in our footer.

Relationship with Shopify

How Long We Keep It

Order records for 7 years, as tax law requires. Messages for 3 years. Your email address until you unsubscribe. Analytics data for 14 months.

Where Your Data Goes

We are based in the UK, so orders from the US and Canada are processed here. Some providers operate outside the UK; those transfers are covered by UK adequacy regulations or an International Data Transfer Agreement.

Your Rights

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete your information, stop using it, send you a copy, or withdraw your consent. Email info@findentials.com — we reply within one month, free of charge. Every marketing email has a one-click unsubscribe.

If you are not happy with how we handle your request, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Children's Data

Our store is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us their details, email us and we will delete them.

Security

Shopify encrypts data in transit and is PCI-DSS certified, and we do not store card numbers. No system is perfect, so please do not send sensitive information to us by insecure means.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time, to reflect changes in how we work or for legal or regulatory reasons. When we do, we will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date above. If a change is significant, we will tell you directly.
